According to CoinDesk, Prometheum has launched Prometheum Capital’s digital brokerage solution, providing agency clearing, custody, and trading services for brokers and registered investment advisers to distribute tokenized securities and crypto assets through traditional brokerage accounts. Co-founder and Co-CEO Aaron Kaplan stated that approximately $20 billion in tokenized securities already exist on-chain, but mainstream distribution channels are lacking. The company operates multiple regulated entities covering the full lifecycle of tokenized securities and has joined the DTCC working group. Initial agency clearing clients include Arete Wealth Management and Network 1 Financial Securities. Kaplan revealed that an institutional distribution partnership will be announced soon to attract more large-scale issuers.
