In accordance with Chainthink, on December 9, Horizen's Layer 3 network has officially deployed its mainnet on Base, marking the latest phase in the evolution of the long-standing privacy-focused network. Although the launch coincides with renewed attention on privacy coins, Horizen initiated its transition from Layer 1 to Layer 3 as early as February this year, following a DAO decision to gradually phase out the old chain.
