Based on Coindesk, a new CryptoQuant report indicates that Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy is shifting from aggressive BTC accumulation to balance-sheet protection, with a separate USD reserve and language acknowledging the possibility of hedging or selling in stressed conditions. Despite this, Polymarket traders still expect routine small BTC purchases from the company, with only a 40%–45% chance of a buy above 1,000 BTC. The average purchase size has dropped from 15,133 BTC in 2024 to 5,330 BTC in 2025, and DAT inflows are at their weakest since mid-June.
