As per Blockbeats, on October 23, citing Bloomberg and sources close to the matter, prediction market platform Polymarket is in early talks with investors to raise funds at a valuation of $12 billion to $15 billion, a tenfold increase from four months ago. In June, the startup raised $200 million led by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund at a $1 billion valuation. Earlier this month, Intercontinental Exchange Inc., parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, announced plans to invest up to $200 million in Polymarket at an $8 billion valuation (excluding previously raised funds). This deal made Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan the youngest self-made billionaire.
