According to Mars Finance, the Polygon Foundation has announced that the Giugliano hard fork upgrade will occur at approximately 22:00 UTC on April 8, at block height 85,268,500 on the Polygon mainnet. This upgrade introduces the following improvements: enabling producers to announce blocks earlier for faster finality; embedding fee parameters directly into block headers; and introducing a new RPC interface to support fee data. The official notice reminds all node operators to upgrade Bor to version v2.7.0 or Erigon to version v3.5.0 to ensure uninterrupted operation.
Polygon Mainnet will undergo the Giugliano upgrade on April 8.
