This vulnerability only affects DOT tokens bridged to Ethereum via Hyperbridge; DOT within the Polkadot ecosystem and other bridging solutions remain unaffected. Polkadot, its parachains, and native DOT are secure. Hyperbridge has suspended operations during the investigation. Previously, ChainCatcher reported that the Hyperbridge contract suffered a MMR proof replay vulnerability, resulting in losses of approximately $242,000.
