As per Coindesk, Poland's President Karol Nawrocki has vetoed the Cryptoasset Market Act, which aimed to align the country with the EU's MiCA regulation. The president argued the bill posed a threat to the freedom of Poles, their property, and state stability, citing concerns over domain blocking powers and regulatory complexity. The act, over 100 pages long, was criticized for potentially driving crypto firms to neighboring countries and favoring large corporations over startups. A three-fifths majority in the Sejm is required to override the veto.
