Derived from Chainwire, Pocket Network has entered a new development phase following the completion of the Shannon Upgrade. The upgrade, a major technical and community milestone, was delivered in partnership with Grove, which will now shift focus to new Web3 technologies. Grove will no longer serve as the centralized service and core protocol development arm. Pocket Network’s new leadership, including Otto Vargas as Head of Protocol, will guide the network’s decentralized open source engineering model. The project now focuses on growth, broader ecosystem contributions, and enhanced decentralization.
