Citing ChainCatcher, Pi Network Ventures has announced a strategic investment in OpenMind and initiated technical collaboration. OpenMind's core technologies include the hardware-agnostic OM1 operating system and the FABRIC protocol, enabling robots to collectively learn and collaborate within a decentralized ecosystem. Leveraging Pi Network's distributed computing power and its global network of 350,000 nodes, OpenMind has successfully completed a proof-of-concept (PoC) for deploying distributed AI models on robots. The collaboration aims to reduce costs and dependency on centralized cloud computing while enhancing privacy protection in embodied AI applications. Pi Network Ventures emphasized that the investment is a key step in building technical and ecological synergy for Pi Network in the era of physical AI and embodied intelligence.
