Derived from BitJie, Web3 content platform Paragraph has launched writer coins to transition creators from paid subscriptions to tokenized support. The platform will pre-allocate approximately 5% of the tokens to past supporters, including Paragraph/Mirror readers, Zora/Base author token holders, subscribers, and Farcaster/Base followers, weighted by contribution. Tokens are default-bound to WETH and can be linked to Zora or Base author tokens for synchronized growth. Readers will be prompted to purchase writer coins when browsing publications or reading articles, with new subscribers needing only one additional click to become supporters.
