As per HashNews, Ontology's mainnet v3.0.0 is scheduled to launch on December 1, 2025. All nodes must upgrade to v3.0.0 by 08:00 UTC+8 on December 3 to prevent service interruptions. The total and maximum supply of ONG will change when the network reaches block height 19,500,000 on December 15. Previously reported, the maximum and total supply of Ontology Gas (ONG) will decrease from 1 billion to 800 million, with 200 million tokens immediately burned. Circulating supply will remain unchanged for now, but future supply caps may be permanently limited to 750 million due to a locking mechanism.
