Citing Criptonoticias, the OECD reported on December 1 that Argentina's inflation is expected to decline significantly in 2026 and 2027, driven by fiscal consolidation efforts. The organization forecasts annual inflation of 41.7% in 2025, 17.6% in 2026, and 10% in 2027. The OECD attributed the projected decline to reforms led by President Javier Milei, which have started to show results. The report also noted that Turkey will likely become the G20 country with the highest inflation in 2026, while Brazil and Mexico are also expected to see reduced inflation rates.
