Odaily Planet Daily report: NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the three major memory chip manufacturers have been approved to supply NVIDIA’s AI accelerators with the most advanced high-bandwidth products. This decision enables SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, and Micron Technology to begin mass production and supply HBM4, the latest-generation chip for NVIDIA’s AI accelerators.
These three companies have dominated the global market for computing storage semiconductors and have been fiercely competing for market share. Upon arriving in Seoul for a multi-day visit, Huang said to reporters: "All three suppliers have been certified." He added: "All three companies are now in production and are racing to support Vera Rubin." Vera Rubin is NVIDIA's latest AI chip. (Jinshi)
