BlockBeats News: On January 6, NVIDIA (NVDA.O) announced that its highly anticipated new "Rubin" data center product is expected to launch this year. Customers will then be able to trial the technology, helping to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence. NVIDIA stated that all six Rubin chips have been delivered from manufacturing partners and have passed several key tests, indicating that customer deployment is progressing as planned. The newly launched Rubin accelerator offers 3.5 times better training performance than its predecessor, Blackwell, and runs AI software 5 times faster.
The company emphasized that the operating costs of systems based on Rubin will be lower than those based on Blackwell, as they can achieve the same performance with fewer components. It is reported that Microsoft and other major cloud computing service providers will adopt this new hardware first in the second half of this year. (Jin Ten)
