BlockBeats report, June 8: NVIDIA and Hyundai Motor Group announced an expansion of their collaboration in physical AI and robotics. Following talks in Seoul, the two parties stated they will leverage Hyundai’s manufacturing capabilities to advance robotics technology from research and development to large-scale deployment in factories.
It is reported that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun focused on Hyundai’s Atlas humanoid robot project and the new Saemangeum development plan, with a total investment of approximately 9 trillion Korean won. The project will encompass AI data centers, the robotics industry, and hydrogen infrastructure development.
Huang Renxun referred to this initiative as "AI Valley" and stated that both parties aim to accelerate the commercialization of robotics by combining NVIDIA's AI technology with Hyundai Motor's manufacturing strengths.
