Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to a post by Bitcoin Magazine, North Carolina has formally introduced the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act (S327), which passed its first reading the day after submission (March 19). The bill was submitted on March 18, 2025, following approximately 12 months of committee review. Currently, three similar state-level bills are pending review in the United States; if all are enacted, state-level Bitcoin holdings are projected to reach $2 billion by 2027.
