PANews, March 18: According to The Block, credit rating agency Moody’s has launched its blockchain-agnostic Token Integration Engine (TIE), directly integrating its credit analysis into blockchain workflows. In the initial phase, Moody’s has deployed nodes on the Canton Network, a blockchain designed for institutional finance with a focus on privacy and compliance. Issuers can now incorporate Moody’s ratings into on-chain processes, with plans to expand to additional public blockchains and asset types in the future. On the same day, Moody’s also unveiled its final methodology for stablecoin ratings, which primarily evaluates the credit quality, market value risk, liquidity, operational resilience, and technical risk of stablecoin reserve assets. Two stablecoins both pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar may receive different ratings due to differences in their reserve compositions.
