According to PRNewswire, the European multi-asset investment platform Mintos has announced a partnership with Upvest to officially launch a regulated cryptocurrency exchange-traded product (ETP). The newly launched cryptocurrency ETPs, issued by institutions such as BlackRock iShares and VanEck, track the price of underlying cryptocurrencies and are traded similarly to ETFs. Upvest provides the scalable, API-driven investment infrastructure and core brokerage services for the product, building on a prior collaboration in the ETF space. Martins Sulte, Co-founder and CEO of Mintos, stated that the cryptocurrency ETPs are designed to reduce the operational complexity and regulatory barriers associated with directly holding crypto assets.
