CoinDesk reports:

Los Angeles, November 2 (Reuters) / PR Newswire -- Match Group (Nasdaq: MTCH) today announced its third-quarter financial results for the period ended September 30, 2026.

Over the past year, we’ve consistently stated that a better user experience leads to better business outcomes. While there is still work ahead, the third quarter provided further evidence that this strategy is working,” said CEO Spencer Rascoff. “Tinder’s Sparks 1 and Sparks Coverage 2 delivered their strongest year-over-year quarterly performance since we began tracking, and daily active users saw year-over-year growth in September—the first such increase in three and a half years. Early results from Events and Group Hangouts show Tinder is building the right features, and we’re doubling down on our ‘Better with Friends’ roadmap to encourage users to reconsider. Hinge is the leader in intentional dating, and we see significant opportunities in both its core and expansion markets. There’s more work to be done, but we’re delivering on the milestones we set, and our confidence is growing as we move toward 2027.”

“This quarter, we met our financial expectations, while the underlying trends at Tinder continued to improve,” said Chief Financial Officer Steve Bailey. “Our disciplined capital allocation has reduced diluted shares outstanding by 4% quarter-over-quarter and by 10% since the beginning of 2025. Looking ahead, we are focused on translating Tinder’s improving user trends into sustainable revenue growth by 2027, while continuing to generate strong free cash flow and shareholder returns.”
