MAS Investigates Local Family Office DW Capital Holdings Linked to 'Taizi Group'

Based on Jinse, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has launched an investigation into local family office DW Capital Holdings, which is linked to the 'Taizi Group.' The firm was founded in 2018 by the group's leader, Chen Zhi, and manages over 60 million Singapore dollars in assets. It claims compliance with MAS's 13X program, qualifying for tax exemptions. Data shows the number of single family offices in Singapore receiving tax benefits from MAS increased from 1,400 at the end of 2023 to over 2,000 by the end of 2024, a rise of 42.9%.
