Semiconductor stocks broadly fell: Lam Research (LRCX) dropped 3.57%, Intel (INTC) fell 3.51%, Applied Materials (AMAT) declined 3.44%, and Arm (ARM) slid 3.01%. Memory stocks led the losses: SK Hynix (SKHY) dropped 6.57%, Micron Technology (MU) fell 3.76%, Western Digital (WDC) declined 3.59%, SanDisk (SNDK) slid 3.38%, and Seagate Technology (STX) dropped 3.13%. Optical communication stocks also moved lower: Astera Labs (ALAB) fell 3.94%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) declined 3.38%, Coherent (COHR) dropped 3.23%, Credo (CRDO) slid 2.93%, and Lumentum (LITE) fell 2.84%.
