As per The Crypto Basic, market veteran Peter Brandt has warned that Bitcoin could correct by as much as 75%, citing historical patterns. Brandt's analysis is based on Bitcoin's cyclical performance, noting that the price has historically crashed 75% or more after breaking below a parabolic advance trendline. This pattern has repeated in each of Bitcoin's five bull markets since 2009. The most recent drop below the trendline occurred in November 2024, raising concerns of a similar correction. A 75% decline from the current level of around $103,000 would bring Bitcoin down to approximately $25,750. Some analysts, however, remain bullish, suggesting the recent dip may be a temporary correction.
