Derived from Bijié Wǎng, Maple Finance has proposed ending SYRUP token staking and initiating a buyback program to enhance its long-term value. The protocol generated over $1 million in monthly revenue in the second half of 2025 and plans to allocate 25% of its income through the Syrup Strategic Fund for buybacks. The move aims to reduce sell pressure from staking rewards and support token appreciation. Voting will end on October 31, with implementation expected in November. SYRUP is currently trading at $0.39 and needs to rise above $0.40 to form a bullish trend.
