Kalshi, which allows users to bet on election, sports, and cultural event outcomes, recently raised $10 billion in a funding round led by Paradigm, valuing the company at $110 billion. Lopes Lara and co-founder Tarek Mansour each hold 12% of the company, giving them a net worth of $13 billion. The firm's valuation has surged over fivefold in less than six months.
