As reported by CryptoDnes, Ledger’s new Multisig interface has sparked backlash from users over new transaction fees. The update introduces a $10 charge per transaction and a 0.05% fee for token transfers, separate from network gas fees. Long-time users accuse the company of prioritizing profit over principle, with Ethereum developer pcaversaccio criticizing Ledger for moving toward centralization and abandoning its Cypherpunk ethos. CEO Charles Guillemet initially suggested the feature would be free, later clarifying it was a typo, but the confusion did little to ease user concerns.
