Odaily Planet Daily reports that Kalshi has posted on X, stating it will follow Warren Buffett’s example by offering a $1 billion reward to users who perfectly predict all NCAA "March Madness" game outcomes. Given that no one has ever achieved this feat (with odds of 1 in 120 billion), Kalshi will award $1 million to the user with the highest prediction score, and allocate an additional $1 million to support charitable organizations.
Odaily Note: The NCAA "March Madness" tournament will officially begin tomorrow. Since 2014, Buffett has offered a $1 billion prize, whereby employees of his company, Berkshire Hathaway, could win the巨额reward if they correctly predicted the outcomes of all games, paid out over 40 years by the company. However, due to the extreme difficulty, no one has ever claimed the prize. In 2018, Buffett lowered the difficulty: anyone who accurately predicts the outcomes of all 16 tournament games will receive an annual prize of $1 million thereafter.
