Based on Coinotag, Ireland’s media regulator, Coimisiún na Meán, has launched formal investigations into TikTok and LinkedIn for potential violations of the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA), focusing on their content reporting mechanisms. The probe assesses whether the platforms meet DSA requirements for accessibility, usability, and anonymity in reporting illegal content. The regulator has previously taken similar action against X, and violations could result in fines up to 6% of global annual revenue.
