In accordance with Biji Web, IOTA has expanded its digital identity promotion through a partnership with Turing Space. The collaboration will leverage IOTA's free architecture and identity framework, along with tools like IOTA's Attestation and Gas Station. Turing Space's Turing Certs platform issues secure, tamper-proof digital credentials and supports large-scale deployment. The IOTA Business Innovation Program recently partnered with Turing Space to expand into digital identity and credential verification applications. Developers will be supported in building real-world DLT applications, with early focus on supply chain and tokenized asset solutions. Turing Space is developing a global digital trust layer called Turing Certs, which has previously issued digital certificates to over 12,000 volunteers across 150 countries, including partnerships with global organizations like the WHO. The platform has also verified over 3.5 million renewable energy certificates in Taiwan. By moving all digital credentials on-chain, the platform aims to reduce verification time by 80% and cut management costs by over 50%, while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and GDPR standards. Turing Space chose IOTA for its low cost, zero-fee transactions, and native identity framework, which supports verifiable credentials and W3C-compliant decentralized identifiers (DIDs). The IOTA Foundation noted that regulators in the Asia-Pacific region are supporting innovative crypto projects while managing associated risks. The foundation is also advancing privacy-focused compliance and legal frameworks. Turing Space will utilize IOTA's extensive tech stack, including IOTA Gas Station, IOTA Attestation, and IOTA Explorer. The platform is also working on future upgrades, including AI-based fraud detection and quantum-resistant encryption. Long-term, Turing Certs aims to become a comprehensive 'lifelong passport' system for storing and verifying credentials in education, career development, health, and other applications. The IOTA Business Innovation Program has attracted new applicants focused on building verifiable and scalable solutions. According to CNF, the IOTA Foundation is also secretly advancing a project called 'Project P,' which insiders suggest may be a real-world asset (RWA) initiative similar to IOTA's Salus project. Rumors suggest more details may be revealed in December.
