A new security breach has occurred on FutureSwap on Arbitrum, resulting in a loss of $74K due to a re-entrancy attack. According to on-chain reports from BlockSec, the hacker exploited the function 0x5308fcb1 to over-mint LP tokens. After the cooldown period, the attacker redeemed the excess collateral to gain profits. This incident follows another exploit that occurred just four days earlier.

According to a ChainCatcher report, blockchain security firm BlockSec stated that the FutureSwap protocol deployed on Arbitrum was attacked again by hackers exploiting a reentrancy vulnerability, losing approximately $74,000, just four days after its first attack. The attacker initially exploited the reentrancy function 0x5308fcb1 three days ago to mint excessive LP tokens. After the cooldown period ended, they redeemed the over-collateralized assets to realize profits.
