According to BitcoinSistemi, FTX has completed three rounds of payments totaling $7.1 billion, with the next round expected in January 2026. The payments were made on February 18 ($454 million), May 30 ($5 billion), and September 30 ($1.6 billion). Creditors with $50,000 or less received a 119% refund including interest. FTX has partnered with BitGo, Kraken, and Payoneer to manage the distribution. FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried claimed the exchange never actually went bankrupt and that customer deposits remained on the platform. He stated that the total value of FTX assets has grown from $14.6 billion in 2022 to $136 billion today.
