As per Jinse, Exodus Movement (NYSE American: EXOD), a U.S.-listed crypto wallet provider, announced the acquisition of W3C Corp, the parent company of Baanx and Monavate, for $175 million. The deal is funded by Exodus's cash reserves and financing from Galaxy Digital, secured by Exodus's Bitcoin holdings. Baanx and Monavate previously collaborated with Visa, Mastercard, and MetaMask to offer crypto card and self-custody Web3 payment services. Exodus stated the acquisition positions it as one of the few self-custody wallets capable of controlling the end-to-end payment experience, from wallet to card.
