As per AiCoin, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has announced its migration of the L2 network Namechain to Nethermind's Surge, a native sharding framework built on the Taiko technology stack. ENS stated that native sequencing and sharding technologies will support Namechain's decentralized core values, including fast finality, Ethereum-native settlement, and censorship resistance. The project will launch Namechain as the first-phase sharding and plans a second-phase upgrade path.
