BlockBeats news: On January 11, Elon Musk posted on the X platform announcing that the new X platform algorithm will be open-sourced within seven days, including all code used to determine which organic search content and advertisements to recommend to users. This process will be repeated every four weeks, accompanied by detailed developer documentation.
In response, "on-chain detective" ZachXBT said that the X platform should reduce the sensitivity of its algorithm. If users like or view posts unrelated to their field on the "For You" recommendation page, they will be overwhelmed by similar posts. However, posts from accounts they follow or topics they participate in discussions about will not appear on the page.
Earlier news: CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju stated that 7,754,367 crypto-related posts were posted on the X platform by bots yesterday, representing a 1,224% increase. This led to "cryptocurrency"-related posts being suppressed by X's algorithm.
