As per Bitcoin.com, Ecash (XEC) will implement Avalanche pre-consensus on November 15, enabling near-instant transaction finality. This marks the first time a proof-of-work network has adopted the feature, which allows users to send transactions without waiting for block confirmations. The development also enhances network security against 51% attacks and supports permissionless subnets. Ecash founder Amaury Sechet described the move as a 'game changer' for digital cash, reducing confirmation time from 10 minutes to under 2 seconds.
