Based on ChainCatcher, domain financial infrastructure D3 Global announced the official launch of the Doma Protocol mainnet on November 26, 2025, introducing the world's first domains that can be traded as tokenized assets. The mainnet launch features multiple premium domain assets, enabling token trading pairs and demonstrating how Doma can convert high-value domains into liquid assets while maintaining DNS compatibility and intrinsic value. By tokenizing scarce assets like Software.ai into ERC-20 tokens, Doma breaks the monopoly of high-capital domain holders. Doma will also partner with registrars to bring over 36 million domains onto the blockchain, allowing token holders to trade partial ownership, provide liquidity for trading fees, or stake for utility features, while the domains retain their DNS-standard value.
