Based on Bitcoin.com, the global count of crypto ATMs has declined for the first time since March 2025, with 403 machines removed since October. As of November 23, 2025, the total number of crypto ATMs worldwide stands at 39,122, according to data from coinatmradar.com. Despite the recent drop, the year has still seen the addition of roughly 1,480 ATMs. North America remains the dominant region, accounting for 88.5% of all machines, with the U.S. alone holding 78.3%. Bitcoin Depot leads the sector with 9,238 machines, followed by Coinflip and Athena Bitcoin. The decline coincides with increased regulatory attention and a potential $100 million sale being considered by operator Crypto Dispensers.
