CoinFello has launched OpenClaw, an open-source skill for on-chain and AI + crypto news, enabling AI agents to securely interact with MetaMask and execute on-chain transactions without exposing private keys. Built using ERC-4337 smart accounts and ERC-7710 delegation, it grants AI agents limited permissions for specific tasks. The tool supports token swaps, bridging, NFTs, staking, and multi-step strategies through natural language commands. CoinFello’s CTO emphasized the need for a safer alternative to sharing private keys. OpenClaw is MIT licensed.

ChainCatcher report: AI agent developer CoinFello has released OpenClaw, an open-source skill that enables AI agents to securely connect to MetaMask and execute on-chain transactions without requiring access to user private keys. Built on MetaMask’s Smart Account Suite, OpenClaw leverages ERC-4337 smart accounts and ERC-7710 delegation mechanisms. Users can grant AI agents only the minimal permissions necessary to perform specific tasks, effectively mitigating the prompt injection attack risks commonly associated with existing AI agent wallets. Brett Cleary, Chief Technology Officer at CoinFello, said, “If we want agents to meaningfully participate in the on-chain economy, we need a better security model than simply handing over private keys.” Supported functionalities include ERC-20 token swaps, cross-EVM chain bridging, NFT interactions, staking, lending, and multi-step trading strategies—all triggerable via natural language commands. The skill is released under the MIT License.
