Citing The Crypto Basic, the CME Group suspended trading across several major markets on November 27 due to a cooling failure at its data center partner CyrusOne. The outage affected CME Globex, EBS, and BMD platforms, halting futures, options, and foreign exchange trading. The disruption occurred during low-liquidity conditions following the Thanksgiving break, leaving traders unable to access real-time pricing. CME has not yet provided a timeline for full service restoration.
