According to CoinEdition, Cloudflare experienced a 25-minute network outage on December 6, 2025, caused by internal configuration changes during a security update rollout. The incident affected 28% of HTTP traffic and temporarily disrupted major websites and crypto platforms, including Coinbase, Kraken, Jupiter, Raydium, and Meteora. The outage was not due to a cyberattack but stemmed from a Lua runtime error on older FL1 proxy servers. Cloudflare restored services by reverting the changes and plans to improve deployment processes and error-handling logic to prevent future disruptions.
