Koenigsbauer has over 30 years of experience building and scaling global enterprise software and business cloud services. He currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft’s Experience and Devices Group, overseeing the Microsoft 365 and Copilot businesses.
During his tenure at Microsoft, Koenigsbauer led the migration of Microsoft Office to the cloud, drove the launch of Office 365, spearheaded the development of the integrated productivity platform Microsoft 365, and helped establish Microsoft’s security business. He has extensive experience leading large-scale cloud platforms, enterprise-grade AI services, and digital infrastructure used globally by individuals and organizations.
