BlockBeats news: On May 27, Circle Tech Services (an affiliate of Circle Internet Group) announced a partnership with Nium, a global real-time cross-border payment infrastructure platform, to connect stablecoin settlements with a global payment network spanning over 190 countries.
According to the announcement, Nium has joined the Circle Payment Network (CPN) as a global payments partner, providing financial institutions on the network with direct access to its distribution infrastructure, covering over 100 local currencies. This partnership enables financial institutions to settle using USDC, integrating funds into Nium’s payment infrastructure through a single connection on the CPN network to deliver local currency funds to accounts, wallets, and cards worldwide.
