The investigation found that the woman had been texting on her phone; when the victim and the woman left the restaurant to get into a car, the four suspects forced them into another vehicle.


Several days later, police found Wang's body in a field, his hands, feet, and mouth bound with tape, and his head severely injured. Reports indicate the suspects had a debt dispute with Wang, stole his phone, and withdrew large sums from his cryptocurrency accounts.
