ChainThink reports that on March 22, the China National Internet Emergency Response Center and the China Cybersecurity Association jointly released the OpenClaw Secure Usage Guidelines to help users safely use OpenClaw, offering security recommendations for general users, enterprise users, cloud service providers, and technical developers.
Recommendations for regular users include: installing OpenClaw on dedicated devices, virtual machines, or containers with proper environment isolation, and avoiding installation on daily-use office computers; not running OpenClaw with administrator or superuser privileges; refraining from storing or processing sensitive data within the OpenClaw environment; and regularly updating to the latest version of OpenClaw.
For cloud service providers, it is recommended to conduct security assessments and hardening at the foundational level of cloud hosts; implement and integrate security protection capabilities; and strengthen supply chain and data security protections.
