ChatGPT Web Version Adds Direct Email Sending Feature

According to Beating Monitor, OpenAI has launched an email sending feature on the web version of ChatGPT. Users can now complete the entire process—from drafting and editing to sending—within a dedicated writing interface, without needing to switch to an external email client or manually copy and paste. Previously, ChatGPT could assist users in drafting emails, but they still had to copy the text and log into external clients like Gmail or Outlook to send it. The sending step has now been directly integrated into the writing interface. Users simply need to connect their email account via settings on the web platform and can then send drafts to recipients with a single click within the Writing Blocks section. This direct email sending feature bridges the final gap between content creation and immediate distribution, aiming to reduce context-switching overhead in workflows. The feature is being rolled out gradually to web-based ChatGPT users.
