Citing TechFlow, blockchain security firm CertiK reported that in November 2025, a total of $172.4 million was lost due to attacks, vulnerabilities, and fraud. Approximately $45 million was frozen or recovered, leaving a net loss of around $127 million. The largest incident involved Balancer with $113 million, followed by Upbit ($29.87 million) and Bex ($12.4 million). Code vulnerabilities accounted for the highest losses at $130 million, while DeFi projects suffered the most, totaling $134.9 million in losses. CertiK noted that despite some recoveries, the overall volume of incidents remained high, urging users and projects to strengthen contract audits, key management, and risk controls as the year ends.
