According to Bijing.com, Celestia has launched its largest software upgrade to date, 'Matcha,' increasing the maximum block size from 8 MB to 128 MB to enhance network capacity and throughput. The update also reduced the token annual inflation rate from approximately 5% to 2.5% and removed token filters on cross-chain bridges, simplifying the transfer of non-TIA assets. As a result, the TIA token price rose 6% to $0.65, though it remains 97% below its peak of $19.70 in December 2024.
