The fund, which uses multi-custody storage and charges a 0.3% annual sponsor fee paid in XRP, is expected to begin trading soon. Ripple Markets seeded the ETF with 100 million XRP, valued at approximately $226 million. The ETF will track the CME CF XRP-Dollar Reference Rate – New York Variant, offering investors regulated exposure to XRP without direct asset handling. The approval follows the SEC’s automatic approval of 21Shares’ 8-A registration and comes as the XRP ETF market continues to grow, with combined assets nearing $1 billion.
