A Cayman Islands court has restricted Maple from launching syrupBTC, a product directly competing with Core Foundation’s lstBTC. Core Foundation claims Maple misused confidential information and violated exclusivity provisions to develop the rival product. Maple has denied the allegations, stating the dispute is limited to the pilot program. Additionally, Maple has ended SYRUP staking rewards and shifted to a revenue-based model for its tokenomics.
