As reported by TechFlow, payment platform Cash App announced plans to expand its cryptocurrency services, including stablecoin support and merchant Bitcoin payment features, set to launch in early 2026. The stablecoin feature will allow users to send and receive dollar-pegged crypto, with automatic conversion between USD and stablecoins. Additionally, users can pay merchants with Bitcoin by scanning a QR code, with the platform converting cash to Bitcoin automatically.
