As per Bitcoin.com, Canaan Inc. unveiled its next-generation Avalon A16XP bitcoin miner at the Blockchain Life 2025 summit in Dubai on October 28, 2025. The air-cooled machine delivers 300 terahash per second (TH/s) with an energy efficiency of 12.8 joules per terahash (J/TH). The company stated that the A16 series is part of its vertically integrated strategy, spanning from chip design to hardware manufacturing and self-mining. Pre-orders are now open, with shipments from production centers in North America, East Asia, and Southeast Asia.
